We have attempted to translate the wine reviews into English:
Nervi Gattinara 2012
For this basic wine the nebbiolo ripens for years on casks, after which a half-year follows in cement vats and then another period in bottle. This results in a balanced wine with a somewhat rustic nose of cherry and dried flowers. In the mouth, the wine is dry, with a tempting minerality.
Nervi Gattinara vigna Valferana 2011
The nose offers an aromatic range of herbs, dried flowers and black cherry. A perfect balance leads to an intense mouthfeel with a smooth texture, some tobacco and refined tannins that carry the long final.
Nervi Gattinara vigna Molsino 2012
The Molsino wine is clearly more robust, with aromas of cherry, some prunes and a corner of mint too. Mineral and a lot of fraicheur in the mouth, nicely structured and a full finale.
